Airlock is a study in space, light, and the breath between moments. Large holes float through the fabric with single purl ridge details, framed by delicate eyelet borders that mark subtle pauses and rhythm. Each stitch is a threshold between presence.
Designed for Berlin Knits Festival.

Gauge: 27 sts x 44 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, blocked. Note: Gauge is not crucial but will affect the size of the shawl and yarn consumption

Airlock is a triangular scarf featuring Hole stitch and eyelet garter borders. It begins with an eyelet tip and grows with increases along the left side. The body is worked in Hole stitch, accented with extra decorative eyelets and separated by single garter ridges. This repeat is framed with eyelet borders, continuing to the end of the shawl. The piece is finished with a garter border, incorporating additional repeats, and all edges are neatly trimmed with an I-cord border.
