The Vest is constructed with lines in an Alternating Garter and Stockinette stitch pattern that is worked sideways. Garter rows are worked with 16 and Stockinette rows are worked with Bonmoher.
Each front panel is worked from the sides to the center of the body. It starts with a Garter border with 16, continues with the linear pattern with both yarns and ends with a Garter border in 16.
The armholes and neck are shaped with short rows. Front panels are grafted together from the center. The back is worked in one piece from the wearer's left to right, starting and ending with a Garter border. These borders are also worked as straight panels twice in the middle of the work. Armholes are shaped with short rows. The back neck is shaped with decreases and increases.
