This shawl is named after Japanese artist Yayoi Kasuma. There is a dot & dash element and a polka dotted element to this patterning. I also really love how it looks on the wrong side.

Yayoi's Dream can also be made in 16 Fingering, using 4 colors, 1 skein each. We have an alternative page for the 16 Fingering version for kit making.

Dimensions: With a gentle shape & block is about 25” (63.5 cm) Wide at widest & 85” (216 cm) Long from tip to tip.

Needle: US 4 / 3.5 mm

Notions: A yarn sewing needle or crochet hook for tucking in ends. Markers, some removable.

Gauge: 24 stitches and 40 rows = 4 inches in Garter, after washing, but not a hard block.
