Airlock is a study in space, light, and the breath between moments. Large holes float through the fabric with single purl ridge details, framed by delicate eyelet borders that mark subtle pauses and rhythm. Each stitch is a threshold between presence.

Designed specifically for the Berlin Knits festival.

Yarn: Spiral Grain Sport, 2 skeins

Sizes: One Size with 38.25”/97 cm straight edge, 45.25”/115 cm sloped edge, 24.5”/62 cm bind-off edge

Needles: US 4 / 3.50 mm circulars or straight needles, any length to accommodate stitches; or size needed to obtain correct gauge

Notions: Tapestry needle

Gauge: 27 sts x 44 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, blocked. Note: Gauge is not crucial but will affect the size of the shawl and yarn consumption
