Simple garter and rib stitches alternate in this textured quick knit scarf.

Gauge: 24 sts x 36 rows in Hurdle Rib Stitch = 4”/10 cm unblocked.

Techniques: I-cords, Increases, Decreases.

Ashlar starts at a narrow end, working garter stitch rows until the hurdle rib begins. I-cord edges trim both sides. Shaping is created by increases worked on RS rows along the right side of the work. The stitch count remains constant for the repeats in the middle, then reverses with decreases on RS rows.
