Named for the expressive traditional flat woven kilims of Anatolia which often use colorful yarn remnants in playful combinations, Kilim combines two of my favorite stitches in a textured stashbusting wrap and with a braided trim.

Dimensions: 64” / 163 cm long by 18” / 46 cm wide. Linen stitch bands are 1.5” / 3.8 cm, not including 3/8” / 0.83 cm braid trim.

Needle: US 10 / 6 mm, US 7 / 4.5 mm

Gauge: 16 stitches and 24 rows = 4" / 10 cm square in Herringbone Stitch

The shawl shown here was made with three partial Uneek Fingering colorways plus one entire Monokrom colorway, but endless combinations are possible as long as there is enough yarn.
