Test Knitters & Crocheters help us develop new Urth Yarns patterns by working directly with our Design Team. Test Makers are given a new pattern still in development and asked to follow our guidelines for test sample making and pattern review.

Testers will share progress images of their projects and provide feedback about the clarity of instructions, charts, sizing and other relevant information so the Design Team can assess each step.

Test Making is done on a volunteer basis. Testers keep their sample and the pattern they have reviewed, and also receive a free pattern and a discount on yarns in our web shop. Testers who become regulars receive additional perks.

We are currently testing only English language patterns, but may be adding Turkish, French, German, Russian and Spanish testing in the coming year.
